The eye relief on these is fantastic—I wear glasses and can still see the full field without any black edges. They focus down to 25 feet, which made watching a squirrel in my backyard feel like I was right next to it.

For the price, the rubberized finish feels solid and grippy even in damp weather. The close focus at 25 feet worked well for studying a butterfly I spotted on a hike. It’s a bit heavier than I’d like at 27 ounces, but the clarity makes up for it.

The 8x magnification is perfect for birding in my backyard, and the rubberized coating gives me confidence when it's drizzly out. Focus is crisp, though I wish the case felt a bit sturdier for the price.
