The 25-foot close focus is perfect for birding in dense brush, and the 17.5mm eye relief means I can keep my glasses on without any black rings. Took them on a rainy hike and the fogproofing held up beautifully.

I can finally glass into deep woods without creeping closer—the 25-foot close focus lets me track a wren flitting just yards away. The rubberized, abrasion-resistant armor gives me confidence I won’t lose grip when my hands are sweaty. These are easily the sturdiest binos I’ve owned for full-day hik

The rubberized body feels solid in-hand and the 17.5mm eye relief is generous if you wear glasses, which I do. Only gripe is the 27 ounces gets a bit heavy on a long hike, but the close focus at 25 feet has been great for birding in the yard.
